Palden Lhamo (Tib.: དཔལ་ལྡན་ལྷ་མོ།; Wiley: dpal ldan lha mo), Illustrious Goddess is a wrathful female deity in Tibetan Buddhism, one of the 8 main dharmapalas. Considered to be the wrathful form of Goddess Saraswati. It is believed that Palden Lhamo heals all diseases and is the keeper of the secrets of life and death.
