Product Description

This real painted thangka (tib.: ཐང་ཀ་) of Avalokiteśvara or Chenrezik, the most important bodhisattva of Buddhist pantheon.

Avalokiteśvara or Chenrezik (Sanskrit: अवलोकितेश्वर, “Lord who looks down”, Tibetan: སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས།, Wylie: spyan ras gzigs) is a bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. This bodhisattva is variably depicted and described and is portrayed in different cultures as either female or male. But in Tibetan tradition he generally comes in this four-armed form.

This thangka is finished with high quality brocare, exactly as on the picture.

IMPORTANT!!! THIS IS REAL PAINTING, NOT PRINT!!!

This painting is made in accordance with all religious canons. So, you can be sure — all the proportions and colors are correct.
