Thangka (tib.: ཐང་ཀ་) of Avalokiteśvara or Chenrezik, the most important bodhisattva of Buddhist pantheon, printed on Natural Canvas.
Avalokiteśvara or Chenrezik (Sanskrit: अवलोकितेश्वर, “Lord who looks down”, Tibetan: སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས།, Wylie: spyan ras gzigs) is a bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. This bodhisattva is variably depicted and described and is portrayed in different cultures as either female or male. But in Tibetan tradition he generally comes in this four-armed form.
The source photo used for this print was taken from real thangka of our collection. Resolution of this source is high enough to make full impression of real painting: as you can see on additional images.
This image is set off white border 1,5 cm width, so you can even decorate your thangka with a brocade the same as it done traditionally. But as per our own opinion, the best solution for the modern home design is to put the image in the fillet (picture framing) under passe-partout and glass.
This painting is made in accordance with all religious canons. So, you can be sure — all the proportions and colors are correct.
One copy of this thangka is always available in stock in the warehouse. If you need bigger quantity it wil take 1-2 working days to print it.
