Product Description

Here you can see finely carved statue of Vajrasattva or Dorje Sempa (short form — Dorsem) made in Kham (Eastern Tibet) Vajrasattva or Dorje Sempa (Sanskrit: वज्रसत्त्व, Tib.: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ།) — short form is “Dorsem” (Tib.: རྡོར་སེམས།) — is a bodhisattva in the Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions. In Tibetan Buddhism Vajrasattva is associated with the sambhogakāya and purification practice.

Unlike most statues made for the tourists, all the details of this statue — such as the hands, face, etc — are made very carefully and in the details.

Each statue has some space inside to be filled by traditional way. This hole is closed by cover.
