We are happy to introduce our exclusive collection of 30 cm statues from Nepal. Here you can see perfect work and artistry. Enjoy it, please.
This amazingly fine statue of Buddha Shakyamuni aka Gautama Buddha was made in Patan (Nepal).
Shakyamuni Buddha (c. between the VI and IV centuries BCE), also known as Siddhārtha Gautama or Gautama Buddha, or simply the Buddha, was an ascetic (śramaṇa) and sage, on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. He is believed to have lived and taught mostly in the eastern part of ancient India.
The teaching of Gautama is a Middle Way between sensual indulgence and the severe asceticism common in his region.
Unlike most statues made for the tourists, all the details of this statue — such as the hands, face, etc — are made very carefully and in the details.
Each statue has some space inside to be filled by traditional way. This hole is closed by cover.
