Amazingly fine bronze mould which makes perfect clay figurines of Manjushree , a bodhisattva of wisdom. Making of such clay images of Buddhas is traditionally considered as a way to accumulate merit and do purification. Tibetans say, the benefits of making tsa tsas are the same as of making of Buddha statue.
Manjushree (Sanskr.: Mañjuśrī) is a bodhisattva associated with wisdom (prajñā) in Mahayana Buddhism. In Tibetan Buddhism, he is also a yidam. His name literally means means “Gentle Glory”. Mañjuśrī is identified as the oldest and most significant bodhisattva in Mahāyāna literature and symbolizes the embodiment of prajñā (transcendent wisdom).
