This finely carved serkyem offering set is used for ritual offerings to Dharma-protectors and guardians. Literally this Tibetan word - serkyem - means “golden drink”. You can it with black-tea, or different kinds of alcohol.
This serkyem is made from tombac (alloy of copper and zinc) and covered with varnish. So it is well-protected against oxidation, and will serve for the years agains cheap items. Both vessels of this serkyem are decorated with Eight Auspicious Symbols.
